-Antaran's Journal
Previous Day Day2626 Next Day
We didn't really do much today because my wife got ill and I wanted to stay with her. And honestly, I'm glad I got one day to try to relax a bit, I mean, completely relax, not to wander around in town, get ingredients and visit old places. I've been reading my journal entries now and I can't believe that it's already been twenty-five days since I was taken to jail. I also still cannot believe what happened to Carana. Speaking of which, we still didn't tell her parents about it. Well, at least I didn't. I don't know if Carana already had a talk with her mother, you know, from mother to daughter. Now that I think about it, I believe they both were alone in the kitchen yesterday while her father showed me the new statues he bought from the Klamstor merchant. It took us quite some time to look at every new statue in and around the house, so I suppose Carana and her mother did share some thoughts and experiences.
But I don't want to ask her about it, I'm still trying to make her forget, or at least not to think about it until we can find out who was responsible for the jail incidents and finally get our revenge. Well, revenge might be too hard of a word to describe it. Satisfaction? Hm, well, maybe revenge is a good word for it.
I also still don't know why Carana didn't defend herself against those guards or whoever arrested her. I believe they would've had a really hard time imprisoning her, or at least she could've disagreed to take off her clothes. Maybe she was even knocked unconscious. Hm.
Well, whatever the case, it happened. To her and to me. I actually can't wait to come back to Insomida and hear what my banker and Scarlat have to say.
Ah, I shouldn't think about all this in my free time. I should just lean back and forget all about it.
I will take a quick look at Carana and continue writing with this entry later.
